Athens Montessori School GOES SOLAR! As of December 2012, AMS has installed three large solar panels to be the primary source of power for the school– the first school in Georgia to do so. Read the Athens Banner Herald Article or See More Photos.

AMS celebrated its 30th Anniversary during the 2008-2009 school year. What began as one class of twenty students in a rented room had grown into ten classes of 280 students ages three to fourteen years.
